Bell Museum 2.0 is a thing of beauty! A spacious new home for the very old and expansive collection of natural history exhibits.

I absolutely loved the planetarium presentation. We saw the program Minnesota in the Cosmos which takes us back to the formation of the earth and the glacial actions of our geological history.

I bought tickets online for admission and the planetarium show. We arrived about an hour before the show and that was nearly enough time to see most of the exhibits. We got into the planetarium line about 10 minutes before the show. The line was long but moved very quickly. Next time, I will get in line earlier so we can get better seats. We ended up in the front row with lots of legroom but had a sore neck after the show from looking straight up and all around.

The museum has many stairs but had an elevator. So it's stroller friendly. No strollers in the planetarium but little ones can sit on parents' laps.

The hands-on area was very cool with live animals and lots of things to touch and examine.

The gift shop had great science-themed items and a few packaged snacks - yogurt parfait, sandwich, hummus, nuts, chips, candies, etc.

I would love to see a food truck in the summer. I think that would be a wonderful addition to a visit to the Bell.

Parking today was down the block at the Spire Credit Union. A shuttle bus to the museum was available but we walked easily. The surrounding area is farmland for the agricultural school of the University. Gibbs Farm across the street looks interesting and is open in the summer.

The museum has only been open for a few months and it is a great way to spend a few hours. Take your relatives here when they visit for the holidays!
