George-h-w-bush

This is one of five planes George H.W. Bush flew during Naval training in Minnesota in 1943. It is a Stearman Model 75 Kaydet with an open cockpit.

It's a clean machine!

Today was Girls Fly Boldly day at the Flying Could Airport's Wings of the North Museum in Eden Prairie, MN.

The museum was open for free today and there were several other fun activities to check out. You can get very close to some cool planes - no touching. Still, very cool.

Here are a few of the women's uniforms worn by WACs.
